For a fee of £85 (£75 if you are under 26) you receive:

• a year's membership of the group

• a copy of the book 'How to Pass Your Advanced Driving Test'

• a training booklet and details of our associate training scheme

• advice and on the road guidance to help you to attain the IAM standard

• check drives with senior observers

• an advanced driving test; and

• (if you pass the test) a year's membership of the IAM.

Additionally, there is a special offer to drivers under 26: pass the test and receive your fee back in full!

The people who help you are other members from the Group who have gained their Advanced Driving Certificate. You will also receive:

• a newsletter once every two months

• insurance discount from selected companies

The Institute of Advanced Motorists is a non-profit organisation: at no time will an observer ask for payment for training you.
